This weekend, November 30, we’ll observe Small Business Saturday 2024. It’s an important day because it encourages people in communities across the country to support local small businesses and all they do. It also helps launch the holiday shopping season for neighborhood restaurants and businesses and, in the process, promotes the critical role small businesses play in our nation’s economy.??

It’s a point of pride for all of us that the General Services Administration (GSA)’s seen such success in supporting our nation’s entrepreneurs. Much of that success is because of you. GSA is committed to ensuring small businesses have the tools, resources, and opportunities to thrive. Whether it’s ensuring equitable access to federal contracts or providing support to all small businesses, we’re dedicated to helping them succeed.

Every purchase made on Small Business Saturday strengthens local economies, fosters innovation, and builds resilient communities.

Supporting small businesses is not just about one day — it’s about working together and lifting them up all year long. Every visit to a local shop or partnership with a small business makes a real difference in building stronger, more vibrant communities.
