A shocking reality you don’t know exists until you experience it!

I want to share a personal story with you that just happened to me this week. It started with a trip to my family doctor with a nasty cold and a sore throat. I was confident that this wasn’t a usual cold (I know the difference!) And I should be referred over to see an ENT (ears/nose/throat) specialist. My doctor agreed that the symptoms were severe and was very accommodating. He sent out referrals to a few local clinics in my area. But surprisingly, there were no available appointments… for the next 3 months! Besides the initial disappointment and anger (my throat was seriously bothering me, I knew it needed medical attention) I started to wonder about what was wrong here. Was this just happening to me, or is the entire system broken?Clearly something is not functioning the way it should. Is it simply that there aren’t enough ENT specialists to meet demand? But then I thought, if this is the case, why has this not been addressed before? A 3 month wait without medical treatment is just as bad as skipping treatment altogether. I firmly believe that EVERYONE should live a healthy and happy life, with access to the healthcare they need, when they need it. What are your thoughts on this dilemma? Feel free to share if you have experienced the same or similar!

Bad scene.....Hope u get treatmnt asap. Health cnt wait 4 appointmnts. Unlike India i dnt think u cn gt vital meds off the counter without a pros recommendation. Try betadyne spray for ur throat....shud kill the bacteria in there.
