Shocking - but faith has been restored

I have a real problem with organisations that cannot sell or market themselves ethically . I also believe sales should be a credible career option for school leavers ... when given the right guidance , training and coaching .. and there are a few organisations out there that do . Most need to step up change their attitudes drop their sales processes and align with their potential customers buying process . Any way rant over..this letter was actually sent to my cousin just a few weeks after giving birth to a beautiful little girl .... I actually saw red, Why would you try and scare a new mother after only days , after a short call to the customer services desk a rant and a few threats of shredding share prices I was listened to and they took action ... the first line now reads " We know you will want the absolute best for your baby " Thank you Sharon Bridge faith now restored ... we should name and shame any organisation that does not listen and give our custom to those that do ! Also Thank you Peter O`Neill from Slone Capital for keeping me calm and giving me the right coaching ..,. you were right they are a good bunch of people .. I would welcome your thoughts
Great example Chris I have 2 thoughts to share This happens across business and in our personal life’s where regardless of the strength of the product or services being offered the absolute fundamental requirement of the seller or company is to position themselves and their product in the customers context and world. Not only will this result in a better client experience, more referrals and more sales. If we all adopt this key principle and value we will have happier buyers and sellers with better longer relationships Additionally your point on professionalising sales is topical and something that needs socialising less than 200 of the 4000 business schools in the USA have sales in the curriculum yet 1in 5 graduates will be in some form of Sales or business development role in the 1st 5 years of their careers . We need to be preparing a generation who have Sales and relationship skills not allowing them to practice on clients.

6 年I don’t see the problem here. It’s a morbid subject but one we all have to face eventually and mums need to think about that as soon as that baby is there because they have a personal responsibility to make sure that baby is taken care of because shit happens. I didn’t love writing a will about what happens if I die, my wife dies or we both die together but it needed to be done to protect my son. I don’t love having to make sure that if I died all my bills are paid so whoever does look after him, they aren’t financially burdened but you just have to and that is reality. I think the fact that they do it so soon is great because while they newborn sleeps loads in the beginning you have time to arrange it and put it in a box forever and never think of it again.
