Shiva' rudraksh occupies the entire universe

The entire Universe resides in Shiva! Shiva has neither start nor end , since He is Ananth ( everywhere ). And that is why Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma could not find the start and end of Shiva , since He is the entire Universe. Example :: How Shiva destroyed mount Vindhya’s arrogance. Vindhya Mountain was the tallest mountain , and He was happy for such honour. One day, Vindhya gets a doubt “ what if any other mountain grows taller than me “?? Then, he approaches sage Narada with this query.

Narada suggests him to do penance for Shiva. And Vindhya mountain starts a rigorous penance for Shiva, and Shiva pleased with the penance , gives Darshan to Vindhya. Shiva: Hey Vindhya, I'm very pleased with your penance. You are already the tallest mountain, so why again you are doing penance? What is your wish? Vindhya: Hey my lord, I know that I'm the tallest mountain. But, what if some other mountain starts to grow taller and wider than me?? Grant me a boon, wherein, I would be ever the tallest and widest among all the mountains. And no mountain ever should outgrow me in either height, width or circumference!

Shiva grants The Vindhya mountain, his desired boon. Now, Vindhya starts to grow and grow and thus becomes very arrogant! One day, Sage Narada visits Vindhya and says “ Hey Vindhya, you are the greatest mountain in this entire Universe. Now you may be almost equal to The tridev “. Vindhya : Yes Narada, I'm the number one in this world. Narada: You may be great, but for sure not number one. Vindhya: What ?? Who is greater than me?? Narada: It's none other than Shiva, the Mahadev “ Lord of the Lord's “.

Vindhya: Oh really ?? I would prove that I'm greater than Mahadev! And Vindhya mountain starts to grow taller and wider, and thus reaches the sky and becomes very arrogant, due to his majestic structure! Meanwhile, Mother Earth not able to bear the weight of Vindhya mountain, goes to Shiva and asks Him to help her! Then Shiva decides to teach Vindhya a lesson. Vindhya mountain reaches the highest point, and he tries to grow still, but sees that something is obstructing His growth. He sees a hard brown structure in the sky, through which he is unable to protrude! He realizes that, it's an Rudraksh! And the Rudraksh was, one among the Shiva's Rudraksha wrist band!

The majestic Vindhya mountain was just a particle in one of the Rudraksha in Shiva's wrist! Seeing this, Vindhya mountain starts to cry and asked Shiva to forgive him for his arrogance and ignorance. Shiva means that which is not the physical existence or is the vast, static, unmanifested nothingness that is timeless with no beginning and no end, is boundless with no start and no end, is shapeless, is the most powerful energy capable of mass destruction in order for meaningful creation to happen. Now think about Dark energy, something that is not physical as well and has striking similarities to that of Shiva. Rings bell?

Now, let’s talk about 2 verses from Rigveda that ~match with the findings of human beings: Rigveda 10.90.3 - All that is born is just his one fourth, the other 3/4th cannot be born or die. Rigveda 10.90.4 - 3/4th of him is beyond and only 1/4th of him is born again and again. That is, 3/4th of the Universe or the dark energy is eternal and only the rest is physical manifestation bounded to be cyclical i.e. emerging out and then merging back to this vast, static, unmanifested nothingness (remember Laws of Thermodynamics?). This 3/4th of unmanifested, un-cyclic, static dimension of the Universe is what we refer to as Shiva, which modern science has termed as Dark energy (for now) and the rest 1/4th is called Shakti - the dynamic, cyclic, manifested form of Shiva. A Hinduism phrase says that Sarvam Shivam Mayam Jagatham i.e. the whole Universe is held by Shiva. Om Namah Shivay

Shiva Lingam, the physical manifestation emblem of Shiva is an ellipsoid and represents unlimited power and doorway to Shiva. Now think about center of all galaxies or the super massive black holes - the elliptical doorways to singularity and considered to be the most destructive force in the Universe. Coincidence? No. There is a reason why Shiva is called the ultimate force of destruction because the very reason is a more meaningful creation. Our physical Universe created over Billions of years of evolution due to energy play between Shiva and Shakti started with a roar (Big bang) or in other words destruction, leading to a beautiful cyclic creation. Remember Thanos from Avengers infinity wars? And Shiva’s statue outside CERN depicting dance of creation-destruction, the basis of all matter per Quantum field theory?

The very fundamental of physical dimension of the Universe is the notion of duality i.e. a complete opposite force in order to lead to a perfect symmetry or in other words, a perfect destruction-creation pair formula for cyclicism i.e. anything taken from this Universe, must be returned back. In terms of Physics, think particles such as Protons-Electrons. In terms of life rhythm, think breath in-breath out. And the mid of these fundamental dualities is the ultimate unity - the vast nothingness, Shiva (Vigyan Bhairav #1 and #17). Truth is stranger than fiction. That Shiva or vast nothingness is inside you - find out Nirvikalpa Samadhi. And if you are looking for the physical manifestation of Shiva i.e. the Lord Shiva or Mahadev, the handsome dude who walked amongst us at some point of time, Nirmanakaya
