This guy was really cocky and wanted a quote immediately form Kandla to China including Vessel Details. First part was right but to China. ?? with 30+ Main Ports and over 2000 small ports. Please state the port too and its a calculation to get your freight cost taking into account quite a number of Factors, including market sentiment as in Owners Market or Charterers, Fuel Price, etc. Ok Ok you don't want to know or rather who cares. Just the quote, then give me your Freight Idea and we'll tell you Yes, No or 3 bags full.

Our Terms in all our Years have always been 30% upon signing of FN and 70% before vessel PC at loading side. Note to self : this is not a COA

Not happy to pay 30% upon Signing just wanna Sign and want the complete vessel Details. Then after signing, keep quiet and look at other mangoes around. And some will say "freight will only be paid upon delivery of vessels and loading. Need vessel details to move ahead". Will I bring my Vessel pay for costs and then - no Cargo??or some shitty excuse. Happened before yes.
Vessel Details upon Signing the FN which sates a substitute too. Some want us to guarantee the Vessel before anything, off hire I pay from my own Pocket while you take time to think about it great (*&%!!!!!!!@#@**). If you TT the deposit and send us the Slip we will give you the Details of the Vessel immediately. How about that. We are sorry if you don't like the terms but we have Ikan Duyung you can see for free??
It works both ways we have been caught without Cargo quite a few times and that too from prominent Charterers with no deposit. So these are the simple terms for the regulars and those who want good rates and a guaranteed Vessel for your precious product. Lets keep it simple and Fast

3 年That's why the charter/shiping agent looking the tonnage in nearest port of loading to avoid deposit. Some shiping broker update the vessel for next 2 months in public media and looking trying to search the cargo for early booking to get a deposit. Anyone have past good/bad experiences on the terms of vessel booking and on the sametime looking to secure they own side for the terms of charter. thanks
