The Cubetape is a scanner and dimensioner in one compact handheld device

Bluetooth is used to send data to a shipping software application - this can be direct into the customers IT system using HID data wedge technology. Or data is send to an Android device and from there we send all data to a server or PC application

With the Cubetape you scan the barcode of the package, or pallet, and measure Length, Width and Height of the object and from there all data is transferred an IT system

?Optionally a bench scale can be used – the weight value can be pushed to the IT system or with software we poll for the weight at the moment of scanning the barcode label.

?There are basically two work flows

·???????Happy flow – standard package – scanning a customize barcode on each box gives automatically the dimensions of that box

·???????Ugly flow – ?irregular package made up to fit the goods?- the Ugly freight is scanned with the Cubetape and is measured up by using the cm-tape of the Cubetape

In both cases all data is entered in the IT system without any errors and very fast

Optionally we can also fetch the weight from a bench scale to complement the data record

Now your IT system can work with the right Barcode ID, Dimensions and Weight values of each box or pallet shipment
