2. Progress Towards 200 Workers ??
Thrilled to share that our journey towards the goal of 200 workers by the end of 2024 is gaining momentum. This week, we welcomed two more skilled individuals into the team, and they're now contributing their expertise in Bremen, Germany.
I want to emphasize that I'm putting every effort imaginable to expedite our progress. From exploring new avenues of recruitment to fine-tuning our strategies, each step is taken with the goal of reaching 200 workers as soon as possible. Your support and dedication to this mission are truly appreciated.
Reaching the 200-worker milestone isn't just a career achievement for me as a Sales Manager—it's also a key factor in financial growth. It's no secret that achieving this goal not only advances my career but also means more success for the team and additional opportunities for everyone involved.
3. New Price Quotes Update ??
This week, we've been busy crafting two new price quotes. One for 6 hull fitters in Belgium, another for 10 in the Netherlands, and an additional 6 welders in Denmark. These quotes mark significant strides toward our goal of reaching 200 workers by the end of 2024.
I'm hopeful and eager as we await responses. Successfully landing these contracts not only expands Marino Group's reach but also gets me closer to my ambitious target. Your continued support means the world to us.

5. Dynamic LinkedIn Presence ??
My LinkedIn journey this week has been incredibly rewarding. I've been investing time in handpicking individuals within the shipbuilding and construction sectors, personally inviting them to connect. This focused approach aims not just for numbers but for creating a community of like-minded professionals who share a passion for shipbuilding.
The constant growth on my LinkedIn profile is a direct result of the shared interest and engagement within the shipbuilding community. I've shared 15 image ads this week, showcasing the daily availability of my skilled workers. Additionally, I highlighted Marino Group's strategic location in relation to other countries in two image ads, emphasizing my global reach. Featured worker types included concrete workers and furniture assemblers, providing a glimpse into the diverse talents within my team.
Adding depth to my online presence, I've shared two articles exploring the pivotal role of skilled workers in shipbuilding. An animated ad tracking my progress towards the 200-worker milestone visually represents my journey.
Your engagement and support on my LinkedIn profile are truly invaluable. Whether we've recently connected or if you've been with me from the beginning, your presence adds vibrancy to my professional community. If you have suggestions for content or individuals you'd like to see featured, don't hesitate to let me know.
6. Beyond Shipbuilding: A Peek into My Other Endeavors ??
In the hustle and bustle of my work at Marino Group, I find moments to dive into my personal online business project after the workday concludes. This venture lies in the health and fitness arena, offering a unique contrast to the shipbuilding landscape.
These days, my schedule stretches to 12-14 hours, juggling the demands of the shipbuilding industry and my passion project. It's a challenging but fulfilling balancing act that keeps life interesting and varied.
While my primary focus at Marino Group is on supplying a skilled workforce for shipbuilding and construction, my online venture delves into a completely different realm. It's a space where health and fitness take center stage, offering a refreshing change of pace.
This dual commitment to both shipbuilding and health and fitness is a testament to my dedication and diverse interests. It's a constant journey of growth and learning, where each day brings new challenges and opportunities.
If you share similar interests or have experiences balancing multiple endeavors, I'd love to hear your thoughts and stories. Feel free to drop a comment or connect with me on LinkedIn.
7. Weekend Plans and R&R ??
As we approach the weekend, I can't help but look forward to some well-deserved rest and relaxation. After a week filled with the hustle and bustle of the shipbuilding industry and my personal online venture, I'm ready to unwind.
My plans for the weekend involve quality time with my girlfriend, Danute. We'll be indulging in the simple pleasures of life—lounging, cooking up some delicious meals, and perhaps taking a leisurely walk to soak in the fresh air. These moments of calm and connection are the perfect antidote to the fast-paced nature of my workdays.
Spending time with loved ones and engaging in activities outside the professional realm is crucial for maintaining a healthy work-life balance. It's these moments that not only bring joy but also serve as a reset button, allowing me to approach the upcoming week with renewed energy and enthusiasm.
I believe in the importance of taking breaks, stepping back, and appreciating the small joys in life. Whether you have exciting plans for the weekend or simply intend to kick back and relax, I hope you find the time to do what brings you joy and fulfillment.
As we recharge during the weekend, let's return to the upcoming week with a fresh perspective and readiness for whatever challenges and opportunities come our way.
Wishing you all a fantastic weekend filled with moments of joy, relaxation, and the company of those who matter most.
Best, Darius Kersulis, Sales Manager, Marino Group
