You are walking into the office (physical or virtual) on a Monday morning, coffee in hand. Your mind is already racing; running through mental lists of what might come your way or what you may have forgotten about. Or maybe you are dreading an email from that, let's just say, special someone who gets your corporate heart racing- for all the wrong reasons. The thought in your mind is "I'm going to get through this day no matter what". WHY are you allowing your mind to think about how to prepare for some unknown-and unconfirmed-negativity in a day that has not even started yet? Well.... maybe it is the dynamic that you are a part of.
The dynamic within and among a team exists whether you are in an in-person/office setting or a virtual office/team setting mainly because the central theme is the same in both settings- you are dealing with the wild card known as human beings. Inevitably, stress will exist. But the key to managing stress within a workplace dynamic is being aware of what you can and cannot control and realizing that a negative mindset never yields positive results. Being positive is always the better route to take. Yes, always. Being positive isn't only a soft skill- there is a direct correlation to business success. Some concepts/tips to keep in mind:

Remember, the good news is, we are human beings; the bad news is, we are human beings.?We are built to hold it together regardless of the situation so let's do exactly that.
