Shiny Happy People & My Love of Music

Seeing BNL's Crew Yesterday (#GreatBand) and Being Called by a Rock Music Promoter Yesterday (#NoJoke), Reminded Me of a True Story...That Exemplifies Why I Love Music. In REM's 1991 album, There is a Great Song I Listed To My Freshman Year of College, "Shiny Happy People." I Value #Kindness and #Trust, and The Song Exemplifies My Approach. And, I assumed REM's song indicated REM was validating that Approach. What I Did Not Realize is that the song is purported (never confirmed...) to be ALSO a bit of satire. if you put 6+7+8 on the BACK SIDE of the Album Together,

This Taught me:

(1) Math is very important.

(2) Things may (?) not always be what they seem

(3) There is often a hidden meaning, and those that are #assiduous in their approach....are often more likely to find that meaning.
