Shining of the Beautiful Mind Part 2

New Level for Business Ethics based on neuroscience: forget boring lectures from unkempt ethicists - we are all encoded with a moral code and being moral is good for health: "moral values are embedded in conceptions of mental disorders and positive health."?The Harvard psychologists Marc Hauser, and several other scientists, claimed that, contrary to appearances, there is a universal moral code, so this scientific discovery should change the way we think about ethics. Researchers at Yale University's Infant Cognition Center chime in: "...babies are in fact born with an innate sense of morality, and while parents and society can help develop a belief system in babies, they don't create one." Sound ethics is good for business: "Converging lines of evidence – from game theory, ethology, psychology, and anthropology – suggest that morality is a collection of tools for promoting cooperation1." Lastly some research in this area has shown that we see morality as central to identity: Your morality is what makes you you.
Staying ethical during this very costly for us but not very for the select few pandemic is a huge challenge. Fighting to keep their businesses alive and afloat, SME owners also wrestle with covid dulling, stress, burnout, and strained mental health that is sapped by fake news and propaganda. Covid fatigue, among other things, robbed businesses of greater purpose. My partners and I launched initiatives aimed at helping SME through Conscious Enterprise Network, Teebei, Releaque and World without Corruption International Alliance.?But Transformative Business Ethics (Teebei) is about well-being as well, offering neuroplasticity, since yoga, mindfulness and meditation are now part of corporate landscape, and neuroplasticity is related: "Proponents of mindfulness meditation have long thought that meditation can actually cause physical changes in the brain; as it turns out, they were right! Mindfulness meditation can, in fact, change the brain through neuroplasticity." Yet Teebei is quicker - two sessions to see what makes a beautiful mind shine:
Business leaders like never before need anything to recharge their worn-out batteries, yet retain the ability to lead and inspire teams. Pre-covid soft competency industry cannot procure solutions for this type of a global disaster of human making, so innovative techniques through neuroscience and psychology underpinning ethics & compliance are critical to business survival. 3 年Indeed the currency of business is trust and cooperation. In todays times - when people are losing confidence in business and institutions - business executives must heed Anatoly’s call to make ethics the center piece of operating their business. As they do this, their organizations will deepen the customer relationship, attract the best talent and perform at higher level with less effort. In addition I know first hand that Anatoly’s approach can save years of frustrating efforts to generate ethical execution.
