Shine a little less brightly
Our own ego will always be the one human trait we always struggle with. It creates confidence in who we are, what we say and how we move forward. On the flip side, it cripples us when weakened by hurtful words, cripples people around us when we use our own voice as a defense weapon and blind us from making the right choices in a situation where we may not be receiving the focus of validation.
What can we do?
Shine a little less brightly. You were born as a unique Light special in every way imaginable, but that purpose was not meant to be a competition. Your worth is not greater because you try to humanly shine brighter than others. It is greater when you help others around you, who may not have confidence in their own light, to shine brighter.
In a room full of lights, is it really important which Light is brighter or that the room is illuminated.
We are all stars in that sky so even though it may seem that you are always suppose to show people how bright you can shine, don’t let your ego convince you to make others around shine a little less brightly.

5 年Thank you Jaison, this is beautifully written. Wouldn’t it be a perfect world if there were no competition and we could all shine the same not having to shine brighter than others?!!!
