"Laughing in the Face of Casualty and Sorrow," a piece from Stephen Wilson's new series titled Shine a Light When It's Gray Out. The artist, and his hundreds of thousands of stitches, are reaching a global audience as they surround the juxtaposition of embracing national support with the withdrawal of virtual isolation. The series directly asks the question: "How do you create a place for yourself in this world without sacrifice?" We're very excited for the premiere of this series at the New Gallery of Modern Art, today March 1st, in Charlotte (NC).
