Shifting Your Mindset Around TIME

How are those intentions and goal setting practices going? 

One of the biggest obstacles people name during Goal Setting is TIME. There never seems to be enough of it! Even now with what seems like endless time, are you managing your time effectively? 

The good news is that we CAN learn to make Time work with us and not against us. Once we shift our PERSPECTIVE or MINDSET that there is never enough Time, time then becomes our partner. 

Here’s a tool to help shift your mindset about Time. It’s called ABC LISTS. 

  • A List: The things that MUST get done today. They are so important that not doing them isn’t even a question. 
  • B List: The things you would like to get done today and need to get done in a timely manner, though could be done tomorrow and your world wouldn’t collapse. 
  • C List: The things you would like to do once you get everything done on A and B lists. 
  • Bonus List: Keep yourself accountable by making a list of things NOT TO DO. 

It all comes down to prioritizing, being honest about what is actually important to you, and committing to your priorities. There are always going to be things that you don’t want to do but are important steps to reach your ultimate goal. When you are faced with these things, remind yourself the WHY behind your goal. What about this goal is so important to you? What freedoms would this goal bring to your life? 

Once you take those steps, then you get to cross it off the list. I don’t know about you, but the feeling of crossing things off my lists is the BEST feeling! ????
