Shifting the Paradigm
In life we are taught to chase our dreams.
We are told from an early age that we are special and significant. That we are deserving of more.
More for ourselves and More than others, with this desire for more we will never be satisfied
I beg of you not as a recruiter but as a human being, to change the perspective.
We've been taught to chase status and an image for so long that we forget to do what it takes to achieve it, spending too much time on our internal desires and less on our daily actions.
Those who get stuck in that race never find fulfillment.
Instead I urge you to give and give abundantly.
Give more of yourself and more than others are willing to give, with this desire you can be more influential than you could ever even dream of.
True leadership comes from a servant heart.
To lead is to relinquish your throne, and put the power in the people that need you the most.
It is a natural psychological need for us to desire significance, so I am not saying to deny that desire.....the desire just shouldn't be the driving force of your actions, it is the by product of a life well lived.
Live well. Give abundantly. Serve others.
This is the new paradigm.

2 年Servant Leadership is one of my core values and, as you put it, a backbone to successful personal, professional, and business growth. It can be applied to all areas of your life - not just work. If you've never read it - you need to read the book Lead Like Jesus. It is the ultimate (non-academic) servant leadership manual.
