Thanks for sharing Diego Vallarino, PhD (he/him)! The transition to smaller models will require an emphasis on feature engineering and domain expertise in my opinion. AI companies will not be able to simply throw as much data and hardware at the problem as possible and instead will have to be thoughtful about the data used and the outcomes desired. It remains to be seen which companies will be able to do this effectively.
