Shieldoo is now Open Source: A Community-Driven Approach
As IT consultants increasingly focused on cybersecurity, we felt the need to create our own modern VPN solution. That's how Shieldoo came to life, built on Slack's Nebula networking framework. Having benefited from open source in its development, we felt it was an obvious decision to make Shieldoo open source as well.??
And we want to share our thoughts on why we did that.?
?
1. Transparency?
One of the main reasons is transparency. Open source allows everyone to see how our technology functions, which is crucial for building trust and understanding.?
?
2. Community Feedback?
We believe in the power of community feedback. Open source enables users, developers, and other interested parties to contribute their insights, which can only make Shieldoo better.?
?
3. Security?
Opening our code to public scrutiny invites a thorough review of Shieldoo's security features. This will lead to a more secure system.?
?
4. Trust?
We aim to build trust with our users, and transparency is key to that. By showing you how our system works, we hope to earn your trust.?
?
Getting Started?
We invite users, developers, and security analysts to join us. Your feedback will help make our digital environment more secure.?
Our code is available on GitHub.?
Installation Guide: We offer a guide for those interested in implementing Shieldoo.?
