Data and resources on the top 2 aspects those focused on People & Culture are tackling this month. 

1. Shhhh...I am quitting ??

"Quiet Quitting" is trending. The idea is simple, stay on payroll but focus on the things you do outside of the office. It has generated millions of TikToks as younger generations embrace the idea of doing what you are paid for, but nothing more. Do younger generations hold wisdom that we should all consider? A simple reaction to blurry boundaries between work and personal life?

 We think it might be a little of both. Perhaps is time we recognize that there is more to life than work, without forgetting that work is good and part of a fulfilling life.

 2. The Remote Work Revolution

An extraordinary third of the work was done remotely in the United States in 2021 and 2022. This has brought significant changes in a number of fronts. People are leaving big urban cores, hybrid is becoming the norm for many industries, and remote work is a baseline requirement for many when searching for a new job.

A good reminder that employers need to consider the remote work revolution as part of their people strategy, including how to deliver benefits. Many are considering an LSA for this exact purpose, if that has made your radar check out our latest blog.

Employees can use their budget to get an Instacart subscription and order groceries for delivery or pickup.  Often this type of service is on the employees radar, but there is a financial and/or psychological barrier to using it. Offering as a life/work benefits gives employees the budget and "permission" they need to use a time saver that makes life/work.
