She's In Parties

There was such fire in her soul,
While ice flowed through her veins.
An unrelenting force of wild nature,
She was impossible to restrain.
No man could hope to tame her.
No chains could hold her back.
If Dionysus had fielded an army,
She would have led the attack.
I recall her with glass in hand so loud,
Dancing with chaos, her libations spilling,
That its strange to see her now reigned in.
Even stranger as she does it oh so willing.
Chained back from wanton revelry.
No great desire for euphoric disgraces.
Her joy flows with such grand eloquence
Because of a life she now embraces.
For no man caused such a change in her,
Not a father's curse nor plea from brother.
T'was that common miracle of untold ages:
A new life that names her as "Mother".
