NEW YORK — As of July 4, 2024, it was 8 years ago that media personality Shefik launched his nationally syndicated, terrestrial radio show, "Shefik presents Invocation" (https://invocation.co ). The show amassed over 1 million enlightened listeners monthly, and every month the audience increases.
"Shefik presents Invocation" is a mesmerizing and thought-provoking journey through musical discovery and appreciation that spans the decades. Content includes video footage, and its audio is severed and packaged as a conceptual radio show, as well as a podcast. Each episode highlights one relatable focal point, encompassing a unique thematic concept that invigorates the audience with creative impact. Initially, Shefik secured a syndication deal to create, host, and produce a weekly show for terrestrial radio. From there, he launched "Shefik presents Invocation" on 20 radio stations and frequencies throughout the United States. That number has now risen to over 20 radio stations and frequencies.
From the onset, all of Shefik's interview segments are shot in-person, and on video. The audio is extracted from each interview segment and broadcast in the radio show, whereas the videos are broadcast via various distribution outlets. For syndication of the radio show, Shefik secured deals with AMFM247 Broadcasting and Tan Talk Radio Network. Videos are posted via channels at YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo, Instagram, Dailymotion, Medium, and TikTok. In addition, via a distribution deal with It's Relevant TV, videos are broadcast at outlets throughout the United States, Canada, and other select countries, inclusive of storefronts, medical offices, car dealerships, restaurants, salons, urgent care centers, pharmacies, malls, sports arenas, and more. Through It's Relevant TV, Shefik's video productions can be viewed at heavily trafficked locations, such as a 10,000 seat arena (Bridgeport, CT), and the casino Mohegan Sun (Uncasville, CT). For audio distribution, "Shefik presents Invocation" is available for listening at Public Radio Exchange (PRX), Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, Pandora, Deezer, Gaana, and more.

"Shefik presents Invocation" broadcasted its premiere episode during the week of July 4, 2016, with "Songs to Invoke Revolution" as the designated topic. In subsequent years, the episodes "Songs to Invoke Revolution 2" and "Songs to Invoke Revolution 3" were broadcast.
