Women seek financial freedom as a means of empowerment and control over their lives, allowing them to manage their financial resources to achieve their personal and professional goals.

Web3 era terminologies is new, and much of it reflects the cultural shift towards freedom and decentralization in the new era of the internet under construction.

So, what is the SheFi program, and why is it important?

• The #SheFi program is a comprehensive educational initiative designed to empower women and non-binary individuals through education, experimentation, and community in #Web3 and advanced financial technologies such as digital currencies and artificial intelligence.
• Established in 2019 by Maggie Love , SheFi aims to bridge the cultural and educational gap in blockchain technology.

Importance of the SheFi Program:

• Empowering Women: The program equips women with the skills and knowledge to effectively participate in Web3 and financial technologies.
• Comprehensive Education: It offers a thorough education including theoretical lessons and practical experiences, helping participants understand and apply new technologies.
• Community Building: Connect with a global community of like-minded professionals building and working in Web3 and advanced technologies, fostering collaboration and networking opportunities.
• Professional Skill Development: The program aids participants in developing their professional skills and enhancing job opportunities in financial technology through job postings and monthly professional workshops.

Program Overview ??

• Duration: 8 weeks, including live and recorded lessons, practical experiences, and peer support.
• Content: Over 24 hours of live instruction, demonstrations, and guest lectures to deepen knowledge of Web3.
• Inclusivity: The program is open to individuals of all ages and educational backgrounds from around the world, including students, professionals, and business owners in the Web3 field.

Program Structure: Each course includes one or two in-depth weekly sessions with presentations, recorded materials, and detailed lessons. The program aims to build a community of participants, currently comprising 3,000 women from various countries, supporting them on their Web3 journey. The core values of the program are openness, kindness, inclusivity, mutual support, and collaboration.

• DePIN: DePIN stands for "Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network." It involves developing physical infrastructure for networks and services in a decentralized manner, making them more resilient and transparent.

Cost and Funding ??

• Program Fee: $800, covering the benefits mentioned above. Funding is available from program partners like The Arbitrum Foundation ndation through a separate application after program acceptance. The application requires stating your reason for joining and why you deserve financial support (e.g., you are from a conflict zone, have halted studies or work, the program aligns with your current studies, are a student unable to pay, or are working in a voluntary sector).
• Scholarship Requirements: Recipients are expected to share their experience on social media and complete a form with links to their posts. The benefit is increased engagement with your posts and potential for further networking within the program.

Program Start ?

• Acceptance: After acceptance, you will receive emails with workshop schedules that you should save in a calendar like Google Calendar for reminders.
• Lectures: The program starts with a meditation session, followed by explanations and a Q&A session. Don't hesitate to ask questions, and if you encounter unfamiliar terms, research them online.
• Resources: You will receive links to instructional videos on Luma, and the program's lectures, presentations, and additional references will be available on the SheFi homepage. Weekly summary emails will also be sent with all relevant links and updates.
• Networking: Connect with course participants via LinkedIn to expand your network and stay updated on relevant topics.
• Direct Communication: You can also connect directly with other participants through SheFi Intros. An email reminder will be sent to schedule these introductions.

Discord - Group Chat ????

Discord - A group chat platform for community interaction.

• How to Use Discord - A guide on using the platform for SheFi community engagement.
• This is the platform used for communicating with the entire SheFi community, including alumni from other cohorts. It also offers support if you need to ask any questions and provides job opportunities, volunteer programs, or training workshops, as well as conferences.
• Additionally, it includes links to workshops hosted by guest speakers from outside the program, where you can save the workshop you're interested in attending and ask questions directly to the guests. The cohort members are very cooperative, and you can earn points for your interactions, which will increase your ranking.

The Power of Quests in Web3

• Quests are challenges where you can earn points on Discord and even NFTs. To learn more about these terms, follow the posts I've mentioned explaining the technical jargon.
• These tasks can be as simple as registering on a platform offering Web3 technologies or managing wallets, for example. You might also create an account or mint an NFT.
• The quests help build your on-chain resume, which enhances your chances of securing a job in the Web3 field.
• Gaining practical experience: By completing the quests, you can gain hands-on experience in the blockchain and decentralized technologies ecosystem.
• Thrive Protocol Challenges: Engage in challenges for additional experience, even if not a program participant.

SheFi Summit ??
