Sheeva.AI debuts SheevaLocate? and SheevaFence?, our first patented products redefining the connected vehicle space
We're proud to announce the launch of SheevaLocate? and SheevaFence?, our first patented products forming the basis of the Sheeva.AI product suite. They make up the core of how we leverage precise location to activate service points, such as fuel pumps, EV charging stations, and parking sessions, directly from the car’s infotainment screen and then ensure seamless payment.

Retail giant Walmart announced plans to turn their 5,000+ Walmart and Sam's Club stores across the US into EV charging hubs. Partnering with charger network Electrify America to build out their EV charging footprint, it's yet another example of how retailers are expanding their service offerings around what we call "The EV Lounge" -- Charge your car, take a break, pick up your grocery order by curbside delivery, and have your Sam's Club hotdog delivered to you in your charging EV.

In a recent survey of over 4,500 drivers conducted by TechInsights, the most important feature of connected car technology is how it helps with parking. Drivers were given 28 possible new car features and ranked them based on their preference of use. Overall, they chose those options that enabled their user journey instead of pure entertainment options like video games. But the best feature? Providing drivers with the ability to be directed to a specific parking spot automatically when approaching the destination and paying for that parking. We bring connected services like parking straight to the consumer with simple one-touch technology through the vehicle infotainment screen.
Apple CarPlay and Google's Android Auto may be dominant in automotive OS today, but automakers are wary of the tech giants as they develop their digital cockpit strategies. General Motors announced its plans to phase out Apple CarPlay and Android Auto starting with some 2024 models, and will build its own OS for the in-vehicle experience. While GM promises consumers a more personalized driver experience, there is also the issue of recurring revenues and loyalty benefits of growing an ongoing relationship with their buyers over the vehicle's lifespan.
Target showed off its newest store concept in Katy, TX, and it's not surprising that EV charging and the connected car are at the center of this latest redesign. The new store focuses on the overall consumer experience -not only can you shop but you charge your vehicle, pick up a curbside order, grab a Starbucks latte, and entertain the family. The stores will be larger to optimize both the in-store and online shopping experience. Target also plans on adding solar panels to help with energy supply and plans to continue to offer more services as they develop.
