SHE Talks, where Unleashed & Impressive Femxle Speakers are created!

I am the proud creator of the SHE Talks platform, creating fearless femxle leaders through the power of public speaking, growth mindset and primal wisdom.

A professional speaker, author, writer, trainer, facilitator, mentor/coach and multi-passionate entrepreneur, with a strong background in visual and written media presentation and theatre performance.

I have always had an insatiable appetite for knowledge of how the mind body and the world work and for our primal wisdom (fundamental instincts and behaviour).

From a very young age, I knew I wanted to write my own books and share my personal discoveries with others.

My career-focused study includes English literature (making sense of the world through stories, poems, novels and plays), and training to write, media, film, photography, radio, TV presentation, modelling, acting, public speaking, publicity press-release writing, business management, business marketing, writing as an author and publishing co-authored books.

My personal interests had me continue to study The sciences of Natural Medicine and human behaviour to knowledgeably take charge of my well-being.

Throughout my life I have practised Taoism (the various disciplines for “Becoming one with the unplanned rhythms of the all”) and Transcendental Meditation, to best manage and enjoy life.

And, Yin Yoga, which is still part of my daily practice.

It makes sense why I put myself through all of the Landmark Education courses, yes I did complete ILP the year-long Leadership program =O Challenging but Good!

Proudly a brown belt/black belt in Zen Do Kai Karate with Bob Jones in my teens.

Sound engineering in my 20s, to mix my boyfriend's band at his gigs.

Deckhand duties in my 30s where I became the first female deckhand on the ‘Big Cat’ catamaran going out to Green Island - where the Captain and I weathered a cyclone one year by strapping ourselves to the top deck.

From an early age, I chose to not settle down and have Children. Instead, I chose to work with Children as a Facepainter and run empowering workshops.

As you can imagine, this gave me an abundance of time to pursue my interests and create projects and events, often in collaboration to add another exciting dimension to the creation.

I have never been a shrinking violet, however, you may be surprised to know that there was a time when I used to be heartbreakingly reserved and embarrassingly awkward— hoping to appear confident, meanwhile feeling like a total imposter.

I found a way to permanently breakthrough this behaviour, to go on and speak in front of audiences as large as 1,000 people, and for me an even bigger breakthrough was feeling at ease in those up close and personal conversations with one person.

I realised that every second womxn I spoke to was living with this same setback.

THIS is why I am beyond passionate about authentic self-expression —dedicated to liberating and empowering womxn to confidently express themselves in the most authentic and credible way possible.

I created the SHE Talks platform for womxn to become fully self-expressed leaders; because what we say or do not say will affect generations to come!

After all, womxn are the most potent 1st role model we have!

Even still now, I look back on my uncomfortably shy awkward period - a very painful number of years (because of PTSD) as a blessing for causing me to be driven to create SHE Talks.

Every time I find myself completely at ease when speaking to someone new or Speaking from the stage, I feel remarkably proud of the place within me that I have brought myself to - 'blood, sweat and definitely tears'

I don't need to hide myself away to feel safe in the world. That time is well in the past.

I get to be comfortable any way I choose to be!
