She was right-again!
About a month ago my lovely wife suggested that perhaps my chiropractor had done everything possible for helping my back and physical therapy might help lessen some of the pain I continue to experience. I was reticent at first since I was handling it without pain medication, I had already given up tennis and golf and was doing okay. With my usual amount of openness to new things regarding my body, I refused, I am not like that in business, and said I was fine. As was normal with my wife she did not give up and I said that if she could find me a physical therapist my age who had back problems and had conquered them I would consider it and she accepted the challenge. A few days later she suggested I speak to our friend Roy, who is a Physical Therapist. Roy is a wonderful man, and coincidentally had been on duty in the hospital when I had emergency appendectomy a few years ago and I could tell he was competent besides already knowing he was a great guy. Therefore, when she suggested him, I knew there was no choice. I spoke with him earlier this week and we agreed that I would get an updated MRI, as my chiropractor had also suggested, he also agreed with the both of us, that surgery should be avoided at any cost, again something I liked and we would get together when I got done traveling the end of the month. I don't know why I even argue with my wife anymore, she is ALMOST always right and it would save time for both of us if I just do as I am told all the time instead instead of ALMOST all the time like I do now.
