She failed the job assessment ??

A Tech Recruiter applied for a job with one of our clients.

Her CV looked interesting, she ticked all the boxes.

I picked up the phone to tell her more about the 3-month consulting gig.

The discussion went well, she said she's been doing IT recruiting in the past and can handle the search projects.

She didn't have the?CTR-FCS certificate ?yet, so my colleague Zuzana scheduled an assessment to verify her knowledge.

To my surprise, she wrapped up at around the 10th question (out of 50).

Didn't even finish...

She heavily overestimated her skills.

Obviously, we couldn't introduce her to the hiring manager.

And that's why she's not getting job interviews...

To increase her chances of landing a job, she should:

  1. First, fill the knowledge gaps
  2. Second, work on 10-20 different search projects
  3. Third, practice interviews & role-play
