Sharpening the Saw, whilst running.

Sharpening the Saw, whilst running.

As HR professionals, we know that constant self-improvement is key to achieving our goals. Stephen Covey famously said, "sharpen the saw" - that is, take the time to invest in our physical, emotional, and mental well-being to achieve greater success in life. And as I train for the London Marathon, I'm reminded of how important this principle is in both personal and professional pursuits.

Prostate Cancer is a disease that requires resilience and strength to overcome, and that's why I'm running the London Marathon to support vital research in the fight against this disease. But to reach my goal of completing the marathon, I need to sharpen my saw - to invest in my own physical and mental well-being through consistent training and self-care.

I've been tracking my progress on Strava (https://www.strava.com/athletes/89845502), and I'm proud to say that I've been putting in the hard work and taking care of myself every step of the way. By focusing on my own health and wellness, I'm able to push myself further and achieve more than I ever thought possible.

But I can't do it alone. That's why I'm asking for your support in this important cause. Your donation to my fundraising page (https://2023tcslondonmarathon.enthuse.com/pf/colin-christie) will not only help fund vital research in the fight against Prostate Cancer, but it will also help me stay motivated and focused on my training as I work to sharpen my saw and achieve my goal of completing the London Marathon.

So please, consider making a donation today and join me in the fight against Prostate Cancer. Together, we can work towards a brighter, healthier future for all. Thank you for your support!
