This week I've mostly been investing in myself...
I've been as Stephen Covey in his world-renowned book 'The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People' would say been sharpening my saw (habit #7)...
Many people are surprised to hear that I have my own business coach...
Why wouldn't I?
Coaches are human too we can make mistakes, we need some accountability and focus...
This is why I believe in sharpening my saw...
So, this week I've spent 3 days with an amazing group of Coaches all of whom have been busy honing their coaching skills, tweaking their processes, and sharing best practices so they are able to become better Coaches who will in turn achieve better results for their Clients...
There was a comment made on day 2 a simple one-line comment which struck a chord with me...
It reminded me of something I used to give out to all my new clients, part of Nelson Mandela's inaugural speech written by Marianne Williamson...
Do you remember it?
Such powerful words I think you'll agree...
How many of us hide our light?
How many of us play small?
How many of us are not reaching our potiential?
To live a life without regrets we need to step forward to be the person we can truly be...
I have this printed on my wall...
Every morning I read it as a reminder to be the best version of me I can be...
Every evening I read it and ask 'Today have I been (given the circumstances of the day) the best version of me?'
Give it a go and let me know what version of you show's up...
If you'd like a copy drop me an email and I'll send it over to you...
