Sharp thinking from Deborah Spiller

I love LinkedIn for many reasons. One of the reasons are that it’s full of smart, savvy and awesome people.

As I’ve taken off on LinkedIn over the past month or so, I have had so many new wonderful people come into my life. One is Car Buyers Agent Deborah Spiller.

She’s a very nice and in the zone lady, and we met in the ‘real world’ last week. We clicked face to face as we have online and exchanged great ideas on how Social Media / LinkedIn works.

Where we completely agreed was to the superficial and possibly even ‘distracting’ nature of Likes & Comments. Whilst it’s great to be popular, getting Leads & Clients is a critical endeavour.

I did a video on this topic and she gave a great comment that I had to quote here:

• Totally agree, if you are liked and commented on and business is not increasing you really should put your time elsewhere to generate more business, it's always good to try new ways of increasing business however it's always important to have a time frame and if that's not working for you, time to adopt a different tactic.
