Shark Tank 2 AND BEYOND - Part 1

Shark Tank 2 AND BEYOND - Part 1

I recently finished watching Shark Tank Season-2 and much to my surprise I was in awe of the Show’s content.

What makes Shark Tank India Season 2 so impressive is the quality of the ideas and the passion and determination of the entrepreneurs to dream big and achieve bigger. The show had wide range of ideas, from innovative products and services to groundbreaking technologies and social initiatives. Sharks themselves have also been impressive, carefully evaluating and curating the investment deals, and offering guidance to the ones that fail to make the cut (with humility).

Through this post (and a few others in the series), I will try to GO BEYOND and share some insights with you around various aspects of the show like a) Know Your Sharks b) Typical Investment Styles and past investment c) Valuation bases d) Important Business Concepts, etc.

Post 1: Know Your Sharks

As aspiring entrepreneurs, it is but natural to feel excited to understand the personal and professional journey of the Incumbents. This post is an attempt to DECODE the entrepreneurial journey of the 6 sharks in Season 2. The one thing that is common in their entrepreneurial journey is that there is no one formula to success, each of the sharks had their own journey to the Goal Post. One thing that stands out for these Sharks and the other successful entrepreneurs in PERSISTANCE. In Harivansh Rai Bachchan’s words- “Raah pakad tu ek chala chal, Paa jayega Madhushala”.

Let's double click on the Sharks and get to know them better-
