Sharing Your Faith Story
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." - Acts 1:8 NLT
Do you know that your life can be a testimony to others? Jesus doesn't want us to be like courtroom lawyers arguing a case or judges passing sentences. He wants us to be witnesses—just sharing what we have seen and experienced in our own spiritual walk.
If you're unsure where to start, just write down what God has done for you and maybe share it with a friend, small group or a Power of 4 group first. Like anything, sharing your faith gets easier with practice. And don't think your story is too ordinary. Any story that involves someone being saved from despair and finding eternal hope is worth sharing it.
"Come and listen...and I will tell you what God has done for me" (Psalm 66:16). Think about who in your social circle could benefit from the Good News you have received. You can make a difference, one friend at a time.
P4 Discussion Question and Suggestion:
Who do you know that you see as a solid believer? Have you asked them to tell you their personal story of how they came to Jesus?
