Sharing & (un)learning, publicly.

I'm excited to start ... a new practice.
A practice of sharing and (un)learning, publicly.
”Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embracing who we are.” – Brené Brown
A practice to authentically share what I sense, explore, and experience and celebrate those who are already embodying, creating, and working towards an emerging future in service of (a beautiful) life. I intend to?draw attention to seeds, signals, stories, and shifts of regeneration and active hope that I’m inspired and moved by. It’s a way to intentionally follow my curiosity – wildly, across disciplines, experiences, and contexts –?and go down rabbit holes that expand beyond neatly defined boxes, labels, or traditional roles. I’m doing all of this anyway! So instead of keeping it hidden in my journal and mind, why not play my part and share openly?
”It has always been a radical act to share stories during dark times. They are regenerative spaces of creation and renewal.“ - Emmanuel Vaughn-Lee
And it’s also a kick in my b*** to get beyond “me standing in my way”, moving from self-doubt to self-expression, in service of the change I want to see. Getting stuck by trying to write a smart, witty, super-inspiring article that captures it all [lol, catching myself with all those half-started, never-finished article drafts and open browser windows …] doesn’t help. I’ve been silent, almost invisible on social media platforms, personally and professionally. A big part of me rejects the self-promotion game: I don’t want to optimize and design my life and thoughts around what the algorithm pushes or what is popular.

Yet: It’s not the time to be shy! It's time to shift the narratives of our time and use the tools and platforms we have to do so. This is an attempt for a writing and sharing practice to put my a** where my heart is, follow my intention and intuition, invite reciprocity, and get over my resistance to share publicly. It’s also a way to help me reflect, process, and integrate: A playground to test different formats, and channels and get ok with being in progress, and between worlds. It’s an experiment in meaning-making as life unfolds and in actively living the questions, together. Because, cheesy but true: it’s not about the destination, but the journey … and even more about the people we travel with. So I’m looking forward to establishing a nice Friday (for future) practice to give shoutouts to all co-travelers: Expressing gratitude might help my mood and staying accountable to my practice.
Don’t expect “answers”, “my 10 top learnings” or “hot takes on […]”, but rather reflections on heartfelt encounters, soul-seeking inquiries, and embodied experiences that touch, move, and inspire me.
All that which forms and transforms, rather than informs.
A weekly practice for personal, and collective, unfolding and (un)learning. Works/words/worlds in progress.
