From my experience attitude is key; no matter what your situation might be! Whether you are looking for a job, working in sales or recruitment, managing a team and even in your private life.

YES

Nowadays, people tend to complain a lot and focus on the negatives in life. Unfortunately, they share this bad energy with the people around them, always focusing on the bad rather than the good. We are all familiar with that one colleague that loves to complain about almost everything “candidates or clients are never answering my calls and emails!” “I don′t like my manager!” “It′ll never work!” etc. 

Unfortunately, being surrounded by bad energy and pessimistic people will inevitably have a negative impact on your life, your environment and your personal progress. These negative emotions will cause damage to your individual power and energy, causing your pleasure to work to disappear too. 

Do we need to ignore these problems and objections? No, of course not! We must find the solution to these problems. 

Our emotions are contagious and by encouraging people to focus on the yes, we can change their perceptions and spread waves of positive energy. We must celebrate success, even the smallest achievements and baby steps, because eventually, these small steps will lead to the greatest results! It′s all part of the journey. 

Finally, I would like to refer to Stephen Covey′s valuable insights about “our circle of influence and control”. By focusing on the things that we can affect and control, our circle of influence will grow. This helps us to recognise our own individual power and influence. 

Focus on the right things, embrace positivity, celebrate success, and you will empower your environment.

WE

In my opinion, results always come from a team effort that you achieve together. You are a part of a process and every single person can influence this process and make a difference collectively. 

It doesn′t matter how old or how young you are, where you from, what your background is; your co-workers want to be acknowledged, loved, appreciated and valued for what they do, just like you! As we all know, shared joy is twice as enjoyable!

Sharing your success with your colleagues encourages team spirit!

WILL

Believing is achieving. If you do not believe in yourself, your product or your company, it will be a challenge to succeed. For me, it goes without saying, enthusiastic vibes will attract positive energy!

It is all about intrinsic motivation; are you motivated to perform for your own? Why are you doing what you do? What is the purpose and are you working towards your personal development? Do you find enjoyment in your work?

Find the spirit within yourself, and you will believe in yourself and your added value!

Ultimately, by encouraging a positive attitude, we can solve almost all of our issues. Of course, this won′t make the impossible possible but it will help us to overcome some of our biggest challenges in life, which is a step in the right direction!
