Sharing Some Gratitude From 2020

I wanted to share my thoughts on what has turned out be a year like no other in my lifetime – 2020. While it was so destructive and unprecedented in so many ways, I’d be remiss about reflecting on how it also gave me an incredible amount of gratitude, as well.

I was so honored and proud of how our team was able to pivot (one of my least favorite pandemic terms) from just being a moving and logistics company to a true partner in the face of the COVID pandemic. We were able to step up and make a difference for all of the brave men and women that were tasked with helping to wrestle the pandemic to the ground. Among the acts that we were able to do to support these efforts and that I’m so grateful for are:

  • Assisted ASU and GCU with moving students out of their dorms in a systematic and safe way

  • Assisted TAGCarts in moving medical carts from California to pop up hospitals in rural Arizona to assist the health care workers

  • We “Graduated” 6 kids at “Dircks Elementary School” in our office. We did this to ensure that some of our vital employees could still work and have their kids cared for.

  • Provided warehousing and distribution for much needed PPE supplies for some of the largest hospitals in Arizona, including Banner, HonorHealth and Mayo Clinic

  • Provided the assembly of COVID test kits for the largest providers of COVID test kits in Arizona

  • Volunteered and served on the Advisory Board at St. Vincent DePaul to aid them in helping the homeless and hungry in Phoenix

  • Volunteered for the Fiesta Bowl in a year without fans, but still was proud to see them donate over $4 million to the Phoenix Community

It’s with a heavy heart that we’ve had to endure the effects of COVID in our community, but I’m so proud of our team in stepping up to do our little share in fighting this terrible Pandemic.

May your 2021 be better than your 2020!

Helping trucking, small businesses, and association members reduce operating costs and protect their biggest asset-their health and ability to earn, for considerably less cost than you'd expect.
