Sharing the Secret to High Team Performance... in Washington

NOVEMBER SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
Join me on my tour of Washington state!
Ok maybe it wasn't a full on Eras tour moment but it was multi-city so that counts! I was asked to do 4 speaking engagements in Washington, covering Seattle in the west and Spokane in the east this month. Luckily, I was able to line up the dates well and created a mini week-long speaking tour.
A big thank you to my friends at Alliance 2020 and Amica Insurance for having me.
If you're new to this newsletter because I met you on the road, welcome! It was so great to speak to you all and I'm so happy to keep in touch with you.
In the video below, I share a bit about the journey and include several speaking samples. Head over to biancalager.com to inquire about both virtual and in-person keynote and workshop speaking sessions.
RECAP
In my talk, I explore the concept of servant leadership through personal storytelling, emphasizing its importance in fostering a collaborative and trusting work environment. I discuss the key pillars of servant leadership, the challenges it faces, and the misconceptions surrounding it. I also highlight the significance of service as an attitude, both in professional and personal contexts, and provide practical tips for implementing servant leadership principles in organizations.

**The BLINC Newsletter will take a Thanksgiving hiatus next week but keep your inbox eyes peeled for Wednesday, 12/4 for a new special guest helping me to answer the following subscriber submitted question:
I’m a director at my company and I report to our CEO who is the founder and has been running this business for over 10 years with over 20 in the industry. I've been here 7. He has always been the heart of our company culture, but as we grow, it’s becoming harder for him to stay directly connected to every team member. There's over 40-ish of us now and he definitely forgets people's names sometimes and doesn't know new hires anymore. This has led to a noticeable dip in morale, as I think people feel less connected to the founder and our original mission. He sees it and it stresses him out and has asked me to help him smooth things over and figure out how to make our culture less about him (I am essentially the HR function). But I have no idea what to do. I'm not him and no one else on our team has his charisma. We will likely hire 5 more people alone next quarter so I feel worried about more and more growth and this getting worse, not better. Any ideas on how I can help?
