After attending my first user conference in my new role, three things stood out to me:
- Digital Communication Governance (DCG) and the Human-Centric Security Platform: As I shared last week, Digital Communication Governance (DCG) is a core component of our Human-Centric Security Platform Architecture. It was exciting to see how many light bulbs went off during the conference as participants began to imagine the transformative potential of modernizing traditional archiving and compliance through DCG—and how that becomes even more powerful when integrated into a broader security platform.
- Creative and Knowledgeable Customers: We are incredibly fortunate to work with such expert and creative customers. Over the years, you develop a sense of who really knows their stuff versus who’s just talk. It’s energizing to engage with credible, engaged customers who push us to innovate and do more. Meeting so many great people for the first time, and hearing their input, left me truly charged up.
- A Personal Reflection on 9/11: Though I’ve worked in New York City for many years, this was the first time in 23 years that I found myself in the Ground Zero area on 9/11. I had always avoided it, wanting to suppress many difficult memories. However, this time I felt a profound sense of hope and peace as I walked the busy streets that morning. While the day will always carry its weight, it was heartening to have another productive day and fly home on a completely full flight. No matter how polarized the world feels, I left with a renewed sense of hope that we can, together, find our way back to some semblance of normalcy.
