Thinking about print?
I recently exhibited at a digital marketing expo and spent some time listening to interesting talks given by leading digital marketeers. What struck me was the common theme based on the awareness that e-marketing isn't working as it once did. Marketeers had to be smarter, data needed to be much more comprehensive and timing was everything............ I realised what was missing from the discussions....... print..... the only natural and sustainable way to engage every one of your clients senses. Yes, it might cost more but marketing spend is an investment and needs to be used wisely.
Regarding sustainability, please don't be fooled into thinking that using paper is environmentally unsound. Paper is one of the most recycled products in the world and between 2005 and 2015, European forests grew by 44,000 Square Kilometres - that’s an area bigger than Switzerland and amounts to over 1,500 football pitches everyday! Printing firms have been applying environmentally sound practices long before it became fashionable. 7 年True thoughts Dominic Hartley. This is evident through the resurgence of print in the targeted direct mail sector. Infotrends research states having customized targeted print gives a far greater response. So what's the "cost" of not using print for direct mail?
