Sharing My Internal Message Regarding Hurricane Harvey

Sharing my internal message sent to all On Q employees - and I hope more companies encourage their employees to help out for those affected.

Dear On Q Team,

Our hearts ache for those in Texas as we watch this disaster continue to unfold.  

Often times leaders are defined by how they handle adversity… I want to commend Armando Mungioli for his compassionate leadership during this difficult time.  Armando has kept in constant communication with our Houston team, offering support and encouragement throughout the weekend.  All of our employees are safe and accounted for, and in spite of the circumstances, they are in good spirits. 

Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by the hurricane and the aftermath of Tropical Storm Harvey as they brace themselves for the more challenging weather ahead.  Homes have been destroyed, families displaced and lives forever changed.  Our Mission at On Q is to make the dream of homeownership a reality - the loss of a home under these circumstances is heartbreaking.  

Many of you have asked how you can help: On Q Financial will match up to $20,000 of employee contributions toward relief efforts.  It is important that the support gets directly into the hands of those in need.  We have selected two reputable charities and the links to donate are included here – both listed the Forbes 100 list for charitable efficiency:
