Sharing is caring ...
Hi everyone, I hope you are doing well and safe and even if you aren’t, hang in there, this is also going to pass like those storms that threaten to uproot all that we have and we still stand strong and enjoy that bright morning there after.
An act of sharing positivity in life goes a long way. They say happiness doubles when you share and the current moment demands each one of us to create positivity. Knowledge is not only for the sake of knowing but also to attain a positive life; hence we say Knowledge is Virtue. They say one must always emphasise on “what you know” and keep an eye on “who you know” . The later takes you to wonderful places but the former keeps you there. Both hold equal magnitude of importance in today’s world.
As a Talent Acquisition professional, it has always been my moral priority to connect people with right opportunities. In these tough times, we have seen industries becoming redundant, organisations shutting down, job cuts and individuals getting effected in the worst possible manner. But whenever I learn regarding any opportunities being created, it relieves me a little every time. When I see job updates these days, it makes me happy thinking someone in need is going to an opportunity.
It becomes our duty to help each other and grow together. My day to day interactions on LinkedIn makes me realise that many of us know “what” are we looking for but really struggle to understand “where” are we looking at and “who” can facilitate it. The connection requests, the messages, in mails are always overwhelming to see all of us searching the right place to express their talent. Whenever I am available to resolve the “where” and “who” of your search, it fills me with immense pleasure of contributing and helping. The least I always strive to do is to route my connections to the right places. For many of us this is a quest of survival now and if we can ever provide a clue for anyone to conquer their quest, we shouldn’t hesitate to go an extra mile. That one clue fills us with positivity and it keeps us from giving up. That’s all we need at the moment, a ray of hope to keep going forward. Today if we miss to understand the juxtaposition of failure and helpless, we may as well cease to coexist.
The monotony of mundane activities breaks us, it blunts our sharpness. When we see failure all around the monotony of it really impacts from within. Human perceptions are subtle and so are the nature of people which decides our behaviour. Real essence of helping is about understanding these subtleties and thriving to win together. At this advent we see new ideologies being coined like Co-ompetetion, “cooperate and compete”. It’s a need of the hour to embrace new ideologies where we grow together even if you are competing.
Let us all make a pact of sharing the word out of “You will never walk alone”. Let us create and share opportunities with everyone, refrain from sticking to conventional methods and share what we have for a sustainable growth. Let’s pledge to help and spread positivity. It may be in our smiles, our wishes or our smallest of deeds. Let’s solve the problem of “who” and “where” for all of those who are in search opportunities to run their lives. When you see a job post, share it, if you wish to contribute to the campaigns, comment and like the efforts of the facilitator and be a part of it to better the campaign. It definitely will go a really long way when someone in need gets back their life.
