SharePoint App bar or Oops bar ?

I see the benefit in having this new experience as part of #MicrosoftViva Connections. Like Microsoft states:

“The SharePoint app bar brings together intranet resources and personalized content like sites, news, and files. Enable global navigation to allow users to easily navigate to important intranet resources anywhere in SharePoint.”

Ps. doesn’t have to be in Sharepoint, Global navigation is flexible enough to go outside of SharePoint.

Yes, on every page, Oops … now imagine you are not yet using SharePoint Online to its full potential and the only Team using News articles are the IT Guys. More concerning they only use it on their Social company page on Star Wars …… and don’t forget everyone now gets this in recommended news as the selection is not that big. This is how it can become an Oops bar.

Get started to make it better by using the News feature, making relevant & great articles and engage with your users without having them first go to “your place” on the Intranet. The SharePoint app bar can help you, but it depends on your content!! Make it the Bar you want to check out!!
