Shared Thoughts: Colleagues Reveal Their Unique Perspectives

With great pleasure, we present a unique insight into life at BHTC Bulgaria. Our goal is to offer perspectives from our colleagues, shedding light on the company's internal culture, and most notably, the emphasis placed on personal and professional growth.

Today we share thoughts from our conversation with Antoniya Aretova, Sales Expert.

• Tell us more about yourself, personally and professionally

I devote my free time to hobbies that are in the field of Bulgarian folklore and zoology. I like to experiment in different fields because I believe that a person does not know himself completely and should not stop reinventing himself.

I started at Behr-Hella Thermocontrol in 2017 part-time while I was studying for my undergraduate degree. I had the opportunity to draw knowledge from each department, which gave me a good overview of the whole system and thus cemented my place in Sales. I have climbed several rungs and am currently working as a sales expert.

I think a working environment can bring a lot more to a person than professional experience. Self-confidence and good self-esteem combined with work can be lifelong help. As well as many friendships and good fulfillment.

?We spend more of our time with the people we work with, and if we don't have that good balance and a good atmosphere, then processes will not go the way we want them to.

• ?What do you think unites people in BHTC?

I think cooperativeness is something very essential in a business environment and we have it. I constantly observe different situations and processes where even if we are not directly involved, we are willing to help each other. There is a sense of structure that makes our time here enjoyable.

• What are the initiatives that you think are good to share with people who don't know the Company from the inside?
• The atmosphere when one has a birthday is very nice. There is always a nice surprise prepared for the birthday boy by colleagues.
• Various green initiatives happen and are strongly supported by everyone.
• Sporting events involving colleagues are encouraged and it would be great to have even more.
• What else would you share with people outside the Company

I have seen a steady development of empathy among all my colleagues. Which is a very important quality for teamwork. To achieve common goals, it is often necessary to put yourself in the other's shoes, to look at the angle through their prism, in order to have high efficiency.
