Shared Thoughts: Colleagues Reveal Their Unique Perspectives

With great pleasure, we present a unique insight into life at BHTC Bulgaria. Our goal is to offer perspectives from our colleagues, shedding light on the company's internal culture, and most notably, the emphasis placed on personal and professional growth.

Today we share thoughts from our conversation with Angel Georgiev, Production Supervisor at BHTC EOOD.

• Tell us more about yourself. How many years have you been with the Company and what are your main duties?

?I've been with the company for a great, yet challenging 8 years and 2 months.

?The reason why I define this period as a great one is that thanks to the time I spent here and the working atmosphere I managed to develop myself as a person and gain much-needed habits and discipline.

?In the past years, I have encountered many difficulties and many new challenges due to the new projects we work with. The way to deal with them was with full dedication and focus from my side entirely at work. Working with people is one of the most difficult tasks and no matter how much you want to be able to help or make the right decision, the chance to fail is more than great ??. But that's the way we learn and grow as leaders!?

I started as a SMT operator position, then in the third month, I was promoted to Shift supervisor for some time until I reached the position I am now - as Production Supervisor.

?My main duties are to monitor the target achievements and performance of all teams in production so that we can be a successful and competitive company.

• What are the initiatives that you think are good to recall for people who don't know the Company from the inside??

We have various awards related to the sustainability and energy efficiency of the Company. Colleagues participate in various volunteering events and internal improvement focus groups. In this way, everyone can be active towards improving our working environment.

• What do you think unites people in BHTC?

Motivation to achieve high results and good teamwork are the main factors to bring people together. When people are happy with what they are doing, they are committed to doing better and being more effective.

A friendly atmosphere and smiling people are also reasons why people are united and come to work willingly.
