Shared Thoughts: Colleagues Reveal Their Unique Perspectives

?With great pleasure, we present a unique insight into life at BHTC Bulgaria. Our goal is to offer perspectives from our colleagues, shedding light on the company's internal culture, and most notably, the emphasis placed on personal and professional growth.

Today we share thoughts from our conversation with Simeon Petkov, Senior Test & Measurement Engineer.

• Tell us more about yourself and what are your main duties.

?I started in 2014 in the position of Test and Measurement Tools Engineer, and three years later I became a Senior Test and Measurement Tools Engineer.

Part of my job involves upgrading or troubleshooting controls, these are the machines that check each device to see if it is manufactured to customer requirements and quality criteria.

In my spare time, I enjoy cycling and walking in the mountains and the sea. I like challenges, but not unreasonable risks.

• ?How many years have you been with BHTC Bulgaria and what would you like to share?

I have been with the Company for eight years, which is not very long for the automotive industry. BHTC Bulgaria is a high-tech company, which means that new technologies are coming all the time, and we need to be very flexible and learn new things every day so that the production processes go smoothly. No matter how much you work at Ber-Hella there is always something new to be learned.

I and the guys I work with on the same team have gotten along pretty well over time. We work as a symbiotic unit and I believe that's important. We have open communication within the team and when there is an issue we share it openly so that we find a solution with no delays and no needed escalations.

• What do you think unites people in BHTC?

The company gives stability to all employees in the long term. The work itself that everyone does unites us as well as the quality we deliver through the end products - the devices for the cars. Everyone's work is somehow connected to everyone else's. You can't work individually here and not take the others into account.

• ?What do you think is good to share with people who don't know BHTC Bulgaria from the inside?

The Company is working constantly introducing new and high-tech production machines. The production is visibly improving all the time. If one comes and goes into the production one can see it.

For the past ten years, the technology in the production of air conditioning units has changed dramatically.?We're definitely not a manufacturer that does the same thing every day. That's actually improving us because we're learning as technology evolves.
