Hi and welcome to our Shared Services Newsletter,
Whether you’re out of the office for a much needed vacation, travelling for work, or making a more permanent relocation – you’re not alone. It seems that everyone is on the move at the moment. SSON Research & Analytics’ Chart of the Week
To support process optimisation efforts, European shared services and GBS leaders are relying mainly on automated solutions (88%) and data analytics (77%) via cloud platforms (73%). As robots take on more transactional work from humans, workforce optimisation between bots and humans is also a key priority as cited by two-thirds of respondents.

SSONext Podcast of the Week
In the latest episode of SSONext, I sat down with Barbara Hodge to chat about DATA. Specifically, how SSON uses all that data it collects through surveys over the year. The fact is, it’s all reflected back to the market to support shared services and GBS.
Listen to this episode for the inside scoop on ‘the why’, and ‘the how’ of finding and using data to your advantage. Barbara and I dig specifically into:
? How SSON shares the data it collects with the shared services industry
? What future the research points to, and how to get ahead of these topics
? How to get an edge through data
This episode is also an opportunity for us to express our deep gratitude to the shared services and GBS industry. Thank you for always taking the time to respond and provide the input we need to keep bringing you the industry statistics you need to fuel smart decision-making and innovation.
Til next time,?
