I was born and bought up in the small village of Dhabhol near Dapoli at Ratnagir District Maharastra. Our financial condition was weak, but my ancestors had strong moral values. They were not rich by money but rich by heart, they always knew, how to give and serve society. Those inherited values are by default transferred to me. Thanks to my ancestors. Later, I completed my education and my financial condition improved.

One day I saw a poor man in a shop looking out for a dress. I guess he wanted to buy a dress for his daughter, but he hesitated to buy, and he was requesting the shop owner that he can hold the dress for a few more days. I was noticing his action and his kind request to the shop owner. I went to him and asked him; may I buy the dress for him. He politely replied, thank you, but he can’t accept such a gracious gift. I tried to convince him and told him why it was so important for me to help him. I told him that the kindness of strangers helped me when I was going through a bad phase. If they would have not helped me, it would be difficult for me to survive. From that day I made a promise to myself that I would repay the kindness. Finally, I made payment for that lovely dress and gave it to that person. He was happy and the precious gift he had given me was heartfelt of a hug!
