University Seminar Explores Innovative ERP software Solutions to gain impactful knowledge in the Accounting and Management Career path.

On the 5th December 2023, Al Amthal Group had the opportunity to educate and raise awareness to the University of Bahrain (UOB) Accounting students about the practical knowledge of the ERP software, Optimum. The seminar that had been organized by Dr. Gagan Kukreja, Associate Professor & Program Coordinator of M.SC in Accounting and the University’s Accounting Assistant Professor, Dr. Noora A. Rahman Ahmed, was chaired by Dr. Mohamed Yasin, Assistant Professor of Accounting and conducted by Al-Amthal’s top management, Hani Awachi and Beate Schoek-Awachi. Approximately 200 students as well as other members of the Accounting & Business Management Faculty attended.

The University of Bahrain's Department of Accounting offers Bachelor?of Science in Accounting and Master?of Accounting degree programs. As part of the extracurricular program, Al Amthal Group was invited to speak about the Optimum ERP software to explain how the student’s studies in Accounting and Finance actually operate in the real business world and what tools are at their disposal to conduct their jobs and how to incorporate them with theoretical learning. The students where shown real life cases to demonstrate how an ERP system is absolutely vital in assisting a company to effectively and efficiently manage all its resources to stay profitable.

Therefore, Al Amthal Group introduced its Optimum ERP or Enterprise Resource Planning and management software solution to showcase the system’s functionalities through which employees handle multiple business activities like accounting, procurement, inventory and assets management, human recourses and time attendance management and many more. Hence, UOB students showed great interest and shared their feedback on Instagram:

“It was an enlightening experience with valuable insights and a fresh perspective on ERP accounting systems”, by a UOB Business Management Student.

“The session aimed to provide valuable insights into the benefits, functionalities, and best practices associated with implementing ERP Accounting System. It was truly an honor to learn from these industry experts who shared their expertise and experiences related to the system,” by a UOB Accounting Student.

Al-Amthal Management expressed its appreciation to the University of Bahrain (UOB) and the organizers for their efforts in setting up such event, which is extremely important and useful for the students’ accounting studies and career preparation. Al-Amthal’s CEO expressed his thanks by stating: “We are delighted to be able to contribute in such a constructive manner to the University’s great efforts to enhance the students’ learning experience as part of our social commitment as Bahraini company.”
