FOUNDATION SCRIPTURE:

? Jeremiah 18:6 ?

"O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter does?' declares the Lord. 'Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel.”

HOLY SPIRIT, HAVE YOUR WAY.

Shabbat Shalom everyone! May we rest today, in obedience to Elohim, The Supreme One.

Clay alone, has no form or purpose, but in the hands of a skilled potter, it can be transformed into something beautiful and useful. Similarly, our lives find their true purpose and beauty when we yield ourselves to God's molding hands.

This reminds us of God's sovereignty over our lives. He has the right and the wisdom to shape us according to His will. Sometimes this process can be uncomfortable - the clay must be pressed, pulled, and even cut to achieve the desired shape. In our lives, this might manifest as challenges, trials, or periods of refinement.

But here's the hope in this verse: the potter doesn't shape the clay to destroy it, but to create something valuable. God's work in our lives, even when it's difficult, is always aimed at making us into something beautiful and useful for His purposes.

This verse calls us to action. It invites us to yield ourselves to God's molding hands, to trust His process even when we don't understand it. It challenges us to see our difficulties not as pointless hardships, but as part of God's transformative work in our lives.

Let this verse inspire us to cooperate with God's shaping process in our lives. Are there areas where you've been resisting God's touch? Surrender them to the Master Potter. Trust that He sees the finished product and knows exactly what's needed to get you there.Trust His process, even when it's uncomfortable. Seek His guidance and embrace the changes He brings. Remember, we are a work in progress, and the Master Potter is creating something beautiful and purposeful in us. Amen.
