The shape of what we cannot see
The breath of air
caressing the grass
on a chilled morning.
Or the attraction
of water molecules
suspended in time.
And what is this green,
in its myriad of hues,
refracting the light?
What we cannot see
taking shape,
if we will pause and notice.
In this in-between space, this uncertain time, what is taking shape in the places we don’t usually see?
Deeper inside than light usually penetrates, or on the edges, beyond our gaze.
What is calling our attention?
And what do we do with what we see with the eyes of our soul?
Perhaps we are asked to give it shape so that others can see it too.
