SHAPE QLD tee up 2022 Annual Charity Golf Day

In its 2022 Annual Charity Golf Day, SHAPE QLD and generous sponsors have raised more than $46k for suicide prevention and early intervention organisation?MATES in Construction, national youth mental health foundation?headspace, and the?RSPCA. The proceeds raised will go toward supporting these organisations and the essential work they do.

Held this year on Friday, 8 April at?The Brisbane Golf Club, the 18-hole event was attended by more than 130 SHAPIANS, participating subcontractors, volunteers, and charity representatives. The event is part of SHAPE’s commitment to giving back and will contribute towards its ambitious target to raise $550k this financial year.

Along the course, participants competed for a chance to win various prizes, take part in activities, and replenish with food and drink. The biggest prize up for grabs at this year’s event was a $50k cash prize, generously sponsored by?Tradelink, for the hole-in-one challenge at Hole 4. Participants were treated to cocktails expertly crafted by a mixologist at Hole 3, pina coladas at the Hole 7 Tiki Village, and for those looking to relax and unwind, a massage at Hole 12. Competitors that made the full round were congratulated at the final hole with Sent It Blonde Ales, generously supplied by?Black Hops.
