Shape the future around you - think beyond the usual.

It is critical to think long-term (not matter what you may consider it to be – I’ve seen business strategies not going beyond 3 years) for any organization to be successful – how long long-term is, will depend on location, region, exposure to global challenges, market context, communication technology, and your willingness or aversion to lead the change from the far front or be changed by the environment around you.
It’s a common practice that we anticipate what will happen and try to be ahead of the game, rather than shaping our action to translate the future the way we want it to be and feel.
I once laughed when I heard a Top executive saying that my problem was challenging too much – isn’t that what we all should be doing: striving to do better, so we can leave what was left for us in a better state for our successors?
Do you put time aside to think, conceptualise, predict and/or analyse trends – being more rational, trying to have a clear sight of what the future looks like so that the decisions you make, share or take are shaping everything around you towards where you want to be, feel and look – right or wrong it does not matter now?
When will it be the time to free your mind for a minute and look far away and wider, on what’s impacting consumer (both, Business consumers and Individual consumers) – how our actions today will make things work even better for us 10 years down the road?
Take a moment and think about how the history of actions, i.e., of our parents and leaders about 20 or more years ago have landed us where we are – and imagine yourself telling a new story and taking action today to take us there.
Be cautious not be over or underwhelmed!
Challenge the status-quo – A wise man told me once: inertia is the worst thing that can happen to anyone. Do something – aim to be ahead of your competition, innovate, change, and entrepreneur.
What is happening now will certainly change – nothing is forever (forever is a long long time) – what are you doing to have it the way you want?

8 年Inspiring and motivational, ``but I have a question`` Like how to behave, being in the situation of not option, bound only by hope, For all that is about to be made and innovated it does not depend on a single decision of mine. Do you think it is possible to sustain that thought only by hope? Appreciated Post Imran Esmael
