Shanghai Opens: Slowly, Cautiously, Enduringly.
Greetings from Shanghai and pleased to share a picture driven view of what’s happening in China’s largest city and center of business and finance.
As Shanghai opens after two months of strict lockdown (or longer for some folks). These pictures might not look like anything special but it’s been so long, that it’s strange to see cars on the road, shops serving customers, or anyone out walking around at all. As Shanghai blinks its eyes in the sun and greets ‘the new normal’, the city’s residents line up for PCR test booths to maintain their green health codes. You need a negative PCR test from the past 72 hours to get in anywhere now.
Enjoy, and please feel free to share with your friends and colleagues and please subscribe to the newsletter.
Happy weekend!
