Shane Trimble: 28 Years of Dedication
Drilling Tools International, Inc.
Strength ? Innovation ? Performance
As we celebrate DTI’s anniversary, we want to give a special shoutout to Shane Trimble, our longest-serving employee with 28 years of dedication! As our Asset Coordinator in Louisiana, he has been a cornerstone of our team. Thank you, Shane, for your commitment and exceptional service.
I started with Directional Rentals as the third employee hired on April 1, 1996. Mr. Ronnie Russo approached me while moving into the new Directional Rentals building. I was working for Energy Machine shop at the time and offered to move tools to the new shop. I was asked if I wanted to work for Directional Rentals as a truck driver and shop hand. In a few short years, I also became involved with Dispatch and Sales.
I'm often asked about my experience at Directional Rentals/Drilling Tools. I would have to say challenging, rewarding, uplifting, hard, struggles at times, disappointments at times at the mistakes that I've made along the way, but grateful to Mr. Ronnie and Mike Domino for the opportunity to learn from them. The people here, from the employees to the executives, are what makes this place so worth it for me. As every relationship ebbs and flows, so has time with every person here who has touched my life. I could not ask for better people to work with. I have learned to embrace it all because that is how I have grown as a person. Trust me, I have a lot more growing to do, but this place affords me the opportunity.
In conclusion, if I had to give any advice to the next generation, it would be go into this job giving it your all, leave nothing on the table, work very hard, build trust with your fellow teammates, be patient, don't be afraid to ask for help, embrace your mistakes and wisdom others pass along, appreciate the differences that each person brings to make us a team, and build those relationships. In the end, whether you work for two years for a company or fifty, give them your all and your best, and make them say in the end that you made a valuable difference in the company, that you mattered, and contributed to the growth and well-being of the company. Leave it all on the table and be thankful.

3 个月When you worked for Energy Machine and your early days for Mr. Ronnie, what set you apart was that on good and bad days, you worked with positivity and a smile. Companies don’t realize how much work a likable truck driver can bring in. Salesmen call on managers, as a driver you called on guys actually making decisions. I heard it quite often from my guys. Cheers and congrats on both, asset manager and years of service!
